The best Indian restaurant in the area....

Is the Panahar in Hamsey Green, without a doubt. It's on the corner of Limpsfield Road and Princes Avenue - definitely give it a try if you haven't already.

Saregama Indian restaurant in Carshalton Beeches. Delicious food, recently had an extension built as they were always full. Excellent service. The only restaurant (indian) we go to!

I agree with Charlie about the Panahar

I have been going there since it opened. they give a 10% discount for pick up takeaways

Only downside is that they dont deliver

    Is that a trick question?

I was in there on Saturday and there is loads of Chicken and Fish on the menu, and I had another excellent meal in there.

Thumbs up all round and very well priced too.

Giving people an idea of how much it costs: -

    For 4

2 big bottles of Cobra and 3 Small bottles + Martini and lemonade

    Popadoms x 6

    4 main dishes (3 specials)

    3 lemon rice

    1 naan bread

    Dahl

    Veg curry

62 - Can't argue about that, especially as it was my shout Very Happy
